Bumble Bee gave my team the fun challenge of selling tuna to millennials. As most would probably guess, tuna isn’t a top choice for many younger Americans, and so we identified a truth about millennial behavior and a unique position for tuna products - the “Snack Meal.” Not quite a snack, not quite a meal - because Bumble Bee tuna has high protein content, and it goes great on crackers or in a rice bowl.

As part of our Snack Meal campaign, we produced a spot called “Millennial Kills” using a new client offering that we developed - virtual production using Unreal Engine. We designed a realistic 3D space to place our talent is, and shot the entire thing in our green screen studio. This approach gave our client the ability to control every aspect of the final image, while saving money on location fees. “Millennial Kills” is live on Connected TV and supplemented by a robust stream of organic social media content.
